Music at Mid-Month 2016-2017 Concert Season

An excellent new season of music begins September 18 with Silver, Wood, and Ivory. This duo of flutes and piano are about to release their 14th CD. Hearing them live and watching Tracy Dietrick play her dozen or more flutes of varying sizes and types is a real treat. Cindy Keller Wittenberg weaves it all together with her artful keyboard playing.

The season continues with the New Holland Band on November 13, Elizabethtown Faculty Wind Quintet in January, our own choir with musicians from Lititz Moravian in March, and concludes with outstanding young organist Jonathan Emmons on May 21.

All the planning has been done, but now we need your help to make this a successful season. Your presence and support for each concert are crucial to the continuation of this outreach to our community. Since its inception in 2002, we have not had a patron list nor sold tickets. But our recent free will offerings have not been sufficient to pay the performers in some of our past concerts. So, just like a good Broadway show, now we are in need of an angel or two to step up and sponsor these performers. If you are willing to be that “Angel,” please contact Joan Norris or Pastor Eric as soon as possible.
